Whenever I go on a listing appointment and step into someone's home - I immediately put on my "buyers" hat.  I look around thinking, what would I think of this space if I was potentially going to purchase it?  

Homes are senitmental - they mean a lot to us - and we take a lot of time and energy putting up all our decorative "stuff".  However, sometimes what's sentimental and meaningful to us, may just look like clutter or offend another.  And sometimes, a potential buyer can see "dirt and wear" that we pass by everyday, ignoring.  

Getting a home prepared for showings is not easy.  But it is a heck of a lot easier today, thanks to websites like Pinterest!  Take a look at just a few of these fantastic, simple, economical and quick ways to prepare a home for showings:

Pinterest really does have so much to offer.  I fought checking out Pinterest for a long time, and my daughter kept insisting that I just take a look.  Ever since then I became hooked.  Love Pinterest.
