Things to Do in Alameda:  Alameda Point Antiques Faire on Sunday, August 4 from 6:00 am to 3:00 pm.  You’ll have great time people watching, buying cools things, and enjoying great food. Entry fee is $10 before 7:30 am, $5 after 9:00 am. If you haven’t been to the Alameda Point Antiques Faire you are missing a great event.  Anything you ever wanted or didn’t want is at the Faire.  This is a great people watching event.  The venue is huge with lots of walking which makes me hungry.  Luckily, there are wonderful gourmet food and drink trucks.  The weather may be cooler on Sunday which will be nice.  This is a popular antique show which draws people from all over the Bay.  We usually arrive around 8 am when entry is easy and parking is not too bad. If you have never been at the Antique Faire you are in for a treat.  There is so much to see and so little time.

Our beach is really nice and lots of people visit during the hot days.  Unfortunately, we only have about 5 really hot days in Alameda(over 85 degrees) each year.
