Google + Tip of the day 8/2
I'm reblogging this so that others in our First Fridays group can see this. It's so simple to do this, and it only takes 5 mins a day. I promise.
Hey guys. Sorry I'm late in posting this. Another crazy week. But, I'm glad we re busy, so I can't complain too much.
Okay, so keeping it simple for Google Plus...Be consistent. Make it simple and quick.
Here's a suggestion on daily goal. You should be able to do this in 5 mins or maybe less daily:
1. Post 1 status update...you can do this while you are on AR. Just take one of your blog posts and push the G+ button at the upper right. It can be the one you post today or a previous one (e.g. one of your favorites or one that you would like to get a better ranking on because it's an important topic for you. After you push the button, type in 1 line about the post. Try not to repeat the exact same words, but do use your key words. You can add in a second line if you'd like. You can also add in a hashtag below with your keyword (e.g. #hardwood).
2. Go to your stream and leave at least 2 comments for people. You may want to go to your Active Rain stream to start. See yesterday's post on how to quickly find Active Rain members...it will only take you 30 seconds to find 300+ of them. Check out that post if you missed it (see below). When you leave comments, just 1 line is fine. BTW, I find it much faster to read these/comment than I do on AR.
3. Leave 5 plusses for people in your stream. Or, you can leave more. This will take you maybe 10 seconds.
That's it. Make it a daily task. 5 mins max. I promise.
