When we do not have a clear definition for Urgent and Needful we will always be ruled by the URGENT. The Urgent will always define itself.
People around you will tell you what is Urgent. Your anxiety and fears will tell you what is Urgent. Before you know it your TIME will be ruled by the Urgent.
One of the best things you can do for your life is to zero in on things that are needful. Ask what actions you need to take to Grow yourself and Grow your business. Dedicate your time to things that are needful. Those things that Will be the highest and best use of your time: Serving, Loving your family, planning for success. Let these things drive your decision making.
When we allow Urgent to define our daily, weekly, monthly and annual calendar we will be move without purpose in every direction. Our stress levels will be elevated, we will not accomplish the most needful things, primarily because we will be too busy putting out "fires". Too busy doing what is undefined but must be Urgent. Our calendar will be open for everyone to fill up.
When you commit to do what is needful you will probably make a few enemies. Especially among those who have used your calendar to get rid of their duties. Take courage. In the long run it will pay off big time.
