We’re Off to See the Wizard – The Moonlight Amphitheater in Vista California
We’re off to see the wizard, the wonderful wizard of Oz.
Who doesn’t smile and think of Dorothy and friends skipping down the yellow brick road when you read these words.
And who can’t hum the tune, even if you aren’t sure of the exact words to the song? I bet you're doing it now!! Admit it.
We’re off to see the Wizard of Oz performed at the outdoor Moonlight Amphitheater in Vista in Brengle Terrace Park, the second of 4 productions this season.
The 2000-seat Moonlight Amphitheatre in Vista is a wonderful open-air venue, with a terrific orchestra, very reasonable pricing for the caliber of their broadway productions (we saw South Pacific last month), and a small restaurant, the Artisan Café, if you decide to not bring your picnic and dine before the show (which most people do).
Remaining shows include Mel Brooks’ Young Frankenstein, and The Who’s Tommy.
Ticket prices range from $22 to $47 and may be ordered individually or for the season. Order tickets online.
