Unique antiques in La Mesa: Collectiquity
La Mesa Village is well known throughout San Diego County for having a wonderful selection of antique stores. Just around the corner, right next to the Village, is a delightful antique shop called Collectiquity. Their new location at 8600 La Mesa Blvd, between Glen and Rosehedge, is an excellent choice, because there is always plenty of free, accessible parking. 
What’s really nice is their presentation: the store is filled with several unique rooms, each with a different motif. There are just the right amount of items-- just enough to have a nice selection and plenty of choices, but not so many that you feel overwhelmed. Everything is creatively displayed, and the mix of items is inspiring. You’ll get fresh new ideas just visiting!
Michelle and Ramos Rios are the owners, and have shared a passion for collecting antiques and “extending history” since they were teenagers. They are enormously helpful without being intrusive. Once they found out I was looking for a round tablecloth (only the rectangular ones were on display that day) they found one for me.
