Ten Things You Probably Don't Need To Know About Me - The Present

By
Home Stager with Sharon Tara Transformations

For the first half of my entry in the "Getting To Know Each Other Better" challenge I posted ten things about my past.

Now, for the second half of the challenge.....

Ten Things You Probably Don't Need To Know About Me - The Present

jeep wrangler

 1.   I love Jeeps!  I love the vehicle, the branding, the word "JEEP".  We have two.  I can't imagine driving anything else.

"When I die, bury me in a Jeep....cause it's never been in a hole it couldn't get out of!"

"Jeep: the dirtiest of the 4 letter words."

"Real Jeeps don't leak, they just mark their territory."

"It's a Jeep thing.  You wouldn't understand."

2.   My vacation of choice is a CRUISE.  My favorite cruise line is Celebrity.

3.   I am AFRAID of almost everything.  Fear and anxiety have been a constant in my life.

4.   I love Harley Davidson almost as much as Jeep.  Hard to believe considering #3.  My friends and family can't believe I ride.

"Live to Ride.  Ride to Live"

hydrangea

5. My favorite flower is the hydrangea. We transplanted some from my husband's childhood home when we built our first house.  When we moved to our second home, we brought some with us.  We just moved a year ago....hydrangea came with us again!

6.    I am completely geographically challenged.  I would be LOST without my GPS....literally!

7.    I wish I could sing and/or dance.  I must have been a performer in a past life because I have such a desire....no musical talent, just desire.

8.   My favorite color to wear is black. My clothes are almost all black, white and tan.

9.   I am a country music fan.  Some of my favorites are Brad Paisley, Montgomery Gentry, Toby Keith, Carrie Underwood and Kellie Pickler.

10.  I have never broken a bone.....God I hope this doesn't jinx me!

Most of this I knew.  #5, #9 and #10 I did not know, but am not surprised at all.  I'd say I know you pretty well friend.

Good morning, Sharon -- and Jeeps never go out of style -- an older model can look as good as one right off the showroom floor.

Sharon-Now I have to tell you that #3 and #$ are rather polar opposites. How can you be afraid of everything and then ride a motorcycle. I think it is great that you do. I used to ride on a motorcycle years ago but never drove one. I like jeeps but have never owned one. Maybe my next vehicle. I will be looking for a comfortable vehicle as I will be traveling a lot. I only broke my nose. I am pretty fearless

I love your #5 that you have brought your hydrangeas with you. I have 3 I just bought this year. I would love to go on a cruise too. One day I will. Now your 6, 7. and 9 is something we have in common. I am alright once I have been somewhere but otherwise I don't know N.E.S. or W. Even though I use a GPS I don't always like them because they can take you on some funky back roads when there is easier ways but when you never been somewhere you have to depend on them. I think my fav singer is George Strait. I also like Alan Jackson. I liked several from back a ways too like Reba and Patsy Cline

We have so much in common!  I just bought a Jeep in December and LOVE it!  Celebrity cruises are tied with Princess.  Cruising is the best and I love waking up in a new port each morning.  Hydrangeas are gorgeous and there is nothing hotter than a lady in black!

Sharon~ The word JEEP is fun to say, but I've never owned one and don't think I ever will. I love to cruise! I like country music too.

Rob:  Believe me, I would have never guessed either, LOL!  I wouldn't even sit on the bike when my husband first bought it.  It took him almost 2 yrs. to get me to go for a ride.  For some reason, I really enjoy it.

Raymond:  We have chives....I have only cooked with them once though.  What's your favorite use for them?

Roger:  I'm surprised you knew as much as you did.  I guess I've shared in one of our many conversations....they tend to be long conversations....I guess I just don't remember, LOL!

Kathy:  I hope it stays that way!

Michael:  The Wrangler pictured is my husbands....the iconic Jeep.  I prefer my Commander for a more comfortable ride.

Sharon:  Total opposites!  It makes no sense to anyone who knows me, including myself!  I don't drive the bike...I purely ride as a passenger.  It's the most adventurous thing I do.

I've owned many Jeeps, I have lost count.  I used to get a new one every 2-3 yrs.  Jeep owners tend to be very loyal to the brand.

I've cruised on Celebrity three times, Royal Caribbean once, and Holland America once.  All very nice.  Holland America tends to be mostly older guests.  Lots of canes, wheelchairs, and walkers.  At least the cruise we were on...maybe they aren't all like that.

Kerrie:  Being in a different port each day is one of the things I like too.  It's like several mini vacations!  It gives you a chance to see places you may want to visit on an extended vacation in the future.  The food is always fabulous too!

Donna:  At one time we had 5 in the family....when all three kids owned Jeeps too.  The kids have all moved on to other vehicles now.  I can't imagine ever driving anything else.

Hard to believe you have any fear Sharon-given your devotion to the grandchildren and your vegan diet, you seem completely FEARLESS to me!  That being said, I too have never broken a bone but I also don't ride a Harley, just a bicycle-let's keep it that way for both of us!

Joanna:  "fearless" is not a word often used to describe me, LOL!  I appreciate it though!

Alexandra:  I had no idea when we first transplanted them that they would be with us three homes later!

Sharon, I find it especially interesting you are afraid of everything, yet ride a Harley Davidson!    You were very lucky not to break any bones!

Sharon, I love hydrangeas too but it's peonies we brought from a childhood home ;). I drive a 'truck', as my son calls them, too. I wouldn't go back to a sedan for anything. Google maps is my best friend since I became a Stager LOL. See we have some things in common :).

Janice:   I agree, she should get extra points!  If you had asked me prior to the challenge if I thought it was a good idea I would have said it's been done already.  I remember the MEME days.  I am so glad I wasn't give a vote, LOL!  This has been so much fun!

Lloyd:  That's just a little bit frightening, LOL!  Are you writing a book or planning an identity theft???

Let's foresee the possibilities . and get results!

Sharon:  JEEP, Cruises and Harleys . . . sounds pretty adventurous and dangerous to me!  I've never been on a Harley nor have I seen the view in your photo myself.  Thank you for sharing.

Rebecca:  I never said I wasn't nervous or anxious while on the Harley, LOL!  I tend to get very anxious prior to a cruise, but once I'm aboard I really love it.
