Introduction

I am close to my 20th year in the mortgage industry (it doesn’t seem that long). I’ve worked in residential and commercial lending in both wholesale and retail management.

Before I entered the mortgage industry I worked in broadcasting and print advertising. I did everything from talk show host, copy writer, sales manager, layout artist, and general manager.

I have been involved in sales since I was 16. My 1st sales position was working for Bob “The Greek” Bolen in his surf shop on highway 101 in Huntington Beach, California. To quote the Dire Straits song “That ain’t workin”. Bob Bolen is now a successful Real Estate Broker in Huntington Beach.

The Greek taught me that sales is just making friends. So welcome to this blog, I hope we become friends and can share with each other ways to build business and personal friendships.
