It’s that time Bahamas—Friday—and you’re figuring out where the popular places of the weekend are going to be. Well, Mario Carey Realty is here to tell you. This weekend is going to be packed with art, culture, food, family and fun.

Tonight is the “Chan Pratt: The Art of Passion” show at the Central Bank of The Bahamas Art Gallery. The show begins at 7:00pm and ends at 9:00pm. This will be an event you do not want to miss Bahamas. Chan Pratt—one of Bahamas’ most talented artists—passed away five years ago. Mr. Pratt’s family and the Central Bank of The Bahamas are putting on this magnificent show to honor his life’s masterpieces. Come see his original pieces and prints tonight; be ready to be blown away by his talent and artistic eye. “The Art of Passion” will be running until August 30^th. If you are unable to attend the free event tonight, make sure to visit the Central Bank of The Bahamas Art Gallery before the end of August.

It looks like Saturday is going to be a fun one. The Bahamas Conch Fest starts at 11:00am at R.M Bailey Park, free admission for all. Bring the family, friends, and loved ones out to enjoy the various types of conch salad, food, music, games, and fun. The festival does not end until 9:00pm. So stop by for an hour or two, or party all day; most importantly, enjoy your self!

 Late Saturday evening catch some live music at the Fish Fry . Jah Cure will be playing at Fish Fry’s Harry Hut. The live concert is from 9:00pm to… when everyone is ready to go home. Pay $25.00 in advance, or $30.00 at the door for tickets. Get there early so you can get a good spot!

As for Sunday, RELAX! Kick back your feet, enjoy some good food, and treat yourself to some rest. That’s all for now Bahamas.
