Ann Arbor Goes Hollywood!

If you want to get a feel for Ann Arbor, Michigan you can check out our great town in the newest Hollywood film "Jumper". You will see Gallup Park and Huron High School and a huge number of students as extras. Our city has been featured in a few books but this is the most recent Hollywood movie that is covering our fair city.

Okay I just checked the early reviews ... and lets just say they aren't so great. This is an Ann Arbor movie with our kids in it and I'm sure there will be a ton of folks there just to see their grins or short lines. Break a leg thespians! Enjoy the show everyone else!!

Very cool, I haven't even heard of it, but I will definately go because I would love to see how it was put together with Gallup Park and the new high school.

Wow - how cool is that! There is tons of "Hollywood" stuff that goes on here. I just think it is neat to recognize your town or landmarks in movies and videos. Chris Daughtry did the video for his song "Home" and we were so excited - we watched over and over naming the highway signs, locations, etc. Then Nickelback did the song "Rockstar" and we had to keep rewinding for the spots in Raleigh - yep, it is the little things that excite me! Great blog and great post, Karen!

Thanks for coming by Missy and Leesa. The kids who are in this story are my friends kids and I would love to name them but I don't think I should until they are very famous! But it is just a ton a fun. The high schoolers are on the front page of Ann Arbor News but I will not share the names until they are big Hollywood people. OH how fun!
