I am not sure how far back the present stretches, but the U.S. was the start of my new life, so that's where I will start.
- Shhhh, but I was an illegal alien for 5 years. I had worked for a U.S. company in the U.K. and they very nicely sponsored me. Don't worry, I am now a U.S. citizen.
- My entry into the illustrious field of real estate came after being a recruiter for 9 years. Same business really - employer wanting employee = seller wanting sellee, and vice versa.
- I only bought a condo once when I had not clue what I was doing and it ended up being a nightmare. I sold it 9 months later. See, I told you I didn't know what I was doing. If I had held onto it I would have made some nice money since I bought at the bottom of the market. Now I rent and it makes no financial sense for me to buy.
- I love cars and would go into the deepest debt to get my dream car. Now I finally own a car I love free and clear, a pale blue Lexus RX 350. Sorry Audi.
- I play golf and it is the only sport I have ever done. I once shot a 94 (no not on the front nine) and leave that score behind now after about 14 holes.
- I have an ear for languages, speak two quite well - French and Hebrew - and can get by in a few others. So be careful what you say in front of me.
- I have never seen a dog I don't like, but I don't want the responsibility of owning one.
- My favorite city is Paris where I try and go every time I go back to the U.K. If you have never seen Paris you have never lived, so they say.
- I enjoy my own company. I am happy being the hermit I sometimes am, but equally thrive at being the center of attention when I am out.
- I could live anywhere in the world under the right circumstances and love places like India and Egypt compared with Hawaii and the Bahamas.
There is way more, as there is from my past, but this will have to suffice.
