What do you include in your e-newsletter? With a Photo from My Clients

Your typical newsletter usually includes tips in maintaining your home and something about real estate in general. Sure, I have those topics in my e-newsletters as well.  Why not get our clients more engaged?

Below is a snap shot of what I include in my e-newsletter besides my typical real estate articles. Not only it makes my e-newsletters more interesting but it also reminds me to keep in touch with my clients.  They are always happy to hear from me and always proud to share their stories and photos.

Congratulations!

Congratulations to Mark and Aileen Sy on their first baby!  Matthew "Aiden" Sy was born on January 8, 2008 in Renown Medical Hospital.  He is 5.10 lbs.

Aileen is recuperating from her surgery.  Mark is busy changing diapers.  Don't you think Aiden would make a cute Tonka baby model?

Catherine:
I subscribe to the local County Park Commisssions blog.  They just announced a Star Search competition which I will be pushing.  The winner will get their own spot on local television and opportunity in the development of the scripts.
Check out my post  on Localiam under Maryland, Montgomery County, Events.

Catherine- I don't do an e-Newsletter, but mine has a variety of things in it......Many times I would get someone from the Community to write an article.  Makes things more personal :)  Love your clients photo.

I usually have one or two real estate related items and then items about our community: greening of Kauai, some community big issue like the Superferry or new developments, and usually a little pitch for our services. I started using Constant Contact to track who actually reads the e-newsletter and who clicks on what links. I think that feedback in terms of what people like and don't will assist me in improving the newsletter.  Check out my Kauai Real Estate Newsletter
