10 Best Places for House Bargains

IS YOUR CITY ON THIS LIST?

REALTORS® Interactive Magazine just published this report from Forbes magazine.

Forbes magazine went looking for markets where the damage from risky lending hasn't been as dramatic as in some parts of the country and where employment growth will burn off an over-abundance of inventory quickly.

Here are what the magazine considers the 10 best cities for bargain house hunters.

1. Salt Lake City,.

2. Raleigh, N.C.
3. Orlando, Fla.

4. Charlotte, N.C..

5. Phoenix.

6. Seattle.

7. Las Vegas.

8. Jacksonville, Fla.

9. Richmond, Va.

10. Houston.

If you live in one of these cities, let us know if you think this is accurate. It's pretty right on for Seattle area. What about yours?

Dallas should be on the list.  We've still got a good market here.
