That's pretty cool - utilitarian beauty!

Hi Lloyd - That's a lovely piece, if a bit cubist. Where is the gallery?

Hi Lloyd, Interesting and a great study of balance and scale. It is fascinating that things usually of very little interest can actually be so artistic in the design.

Wayne and Jean, Dick, and William thanks for stopping by to checkout this plumbing sculpture.  Yes, cubism indeed.  It's a former Del Monte Foods warehouse and packing facility from San Jose's agricultural past, now converted into individually metered artist's lofts sold as condos near downtown.

That much metal is nicer when it does actually look like art!

Very artistic and visually appealing.  My dad would be impressed.  He was a master plumber before he retired, and anything with fittings is fascinating to him.

Sharon, I remember your dad was a master plumber.  I admire the craftsmanship of skilled plumbers (and welders and carpenters).  This was a former Del Monte foods fruit packing facility from San Jose's ag past that was converted into artist's live/work condo lofts with individual gas meters (for billing purposes) near downtown SJ.  As soon as I saw this sculpture I knew I needed to take a picture.
