My favorite real estate app is actually a pretty simple one. It's a financial calculator. The one that I use is simply called Financial Calculators and is availabale in the Google Play store. It has a ton of different calcluators available all in the same app for a tip calculator all the way up to Time Value of Money (TVM) calculators and Return on Investment calculators. The portion that I use most often is just a loan calculator to figure out payments for buyers. A lot of my business is investment property and figuring out Return on Investment or cap rates is a lot easier using this type of app. Having it right on my phone keeps me from habing to run back to the office and run a spreadsheet for an investor. I can simply hit a few keystrokes and have my results while I'm still at the property. This is probably the app that I use the most on my phone.
Hi Marc~ Thanks for sharing. We have an actual financial calculator that we have to remember to bring with us on appointments. Having an app on our phones would be very convenient.
I've got a few on my phone. Haven't used them enuff to see which I like best. One would send info off and email you results - NAHHHH, forget that one!
I use a financial calculator separate from the mortgage software that I sure. I have 3 of them around all the time, it is my HP 12.
Great post, Marc. Just like Donna pointed out above, this honestly does replace another object you'd have to carry around. Those are the kind of apps I like best!
