ActiveRain Week-in-Review 02/11/08 thru 02/17/08

Well, it's been a while since I was conned asked to contribute a "Week-in-Review" for the Rain. But when Neal "The Real Deal" Bloom begged asked me for my help, how could I tell him to take a hike refuse?

So, in continuing this valued and longstanding tradition, I give you, this past week's "ActiveRain's Week-in-Review!"

 Maureen Francis & Dmitry Koublitsky - "Is Your ActiveRain Blog in Violation of the Realtor Code of Ethics?" (for someone who is just asking an honest question, she sure stirs up a hornet's nest!)

Brad Andersohn - "New Members START HERE!" (between the 3-way tutorial tag team of Jeff Turner, Jason Crouch, and Brad, our members are offered some extremely helpful/practical advise on how to make the most effective use of their time in the Rain. Thanks, Brad!)

 Jeff Belonger - "ActiveRain Changes or Suggestions" What would You like to see? (Jeff's article reminds us all that this is 'OUR' network, and our input is vital to the continued growth of ActiveRain)

Marlene Scheffer - "Decreasing the Expenses without Decreasing the Commissions" (a very timely discussion, given the challenges of today's slowing market)

 Cynthia Tilghman - "For Men Only (and Sneaky Women)" (a hilarious and well-deserved break in our day, and unfortunately, all too true!)

Jeff Dowler - "What I would tell New Bloggers if I were asked" (Jeff serves up an excellent and concise short list for new bloggers)

 Gabriel Silverstein - "How Red is Your Part of the World?" (maybe it's time to move to North Dakota?)

Thomas Kearns - "Recently Activated Member" and Bob Schenkenberger - "1st Post!" (I can remember when new members would go weeks before receiving their first comment! These two articles by Thomas and Bob are a shining testament to the 'REAL' power behind the Rain, and the overwhelming flood of encouragement to be found here)

  Benjamin Clark - "Why do some Bloggers Breach Client Confidentiality?;" Teri Ellis - "Warning to All! Be Very Careful, We Never Know Who is Watching/Reading Our Comments!" and Susan Walters - "One Door Closes"...(this past week saw a flurry of articles concerning how what we write here can have impact, both for good or bad)

Linda Davis - "My Dirty Little Secret" (Carnac's alter ego reveals her sordid past. Yeah, we wish!)

  Melissa Grant - "Maybe It's Time We take a Different Approach to ActiveRain?" (This Tennesee Titan offers up some very sound counsel that all of us would be wise to embrace/apply)

Ginger Wilcox -"GASP! Does Her Mother Know?" (a tribute for all of us who have to constantly defend and define 'why' we blog, especially to our family!)
