The weather is undessing me! This is what the home would have said if I would have had a conversation with the home.
If only homes could talk. They would tell a story that would in many cases blow the mind of the listener.
At Desert Sun Home Inspections in Carlsbad, New Mexico.
We get our share of homes that need a lot of special attention when inspecting the home.
In some cases, we know it right from the start.
As soon as we drive up and even before we get out to start a
home inspection. We can see issues.
Here we have a home that has literally been partially undressed by the weather.
We get high winds here in New Mexico. Sometimes they can reach up to 60 miles per hour. Without a storm pushing the winds.
This is why it's critical in the way the exterior siding has been installed.
There is not that many homes with vinyl siding in our area. But here is one that looks like it was installed by Uncle Bob's crew.
This home has siding issues to say the least.
There are a number of hail damaged siding around the home. Vinyl siding will not hold up to a hail storm and damages.
Then comes the high winds.
Then we have a whole lot of weed eater damages. The entire bottom of the homes siding was damaged.
My recommendation was to replace the siding with a stucco style finish.
Unknown if the buyer will even want to finish the buying process after seeing the report.
