I just returned from a 9-day road trip with my girls. Somehow summer just flew by and with school about to start again very soon, I just had to take a few days off ... We traveled through 10 states, oohed and aahed over marvelous mountain scenery, spent a day at the beach, visited friends, hunted for treasures at flea markets, jumped into a few mountain lakes and just had an overall great time!
Thanks to my iPad and the wonderful support of my office, I was able to stay on top of my transactions, settle one and solve a last-minute crisis for another.. it really struck me what a blessing technology can be and how it enables us to bridge a distance with ease.
But I also noticed something else... I am raising a future blogger! Every time we crossed a state line, we cheered and recounted how far we had traveled already. And every time, my daughter pointed out how cool it would be to get a picture next to the [Insert state] Welcomes You! and to blog about it!!
... and while I was taking pictures of the beach and ocean, my daughter asked if those were for my blog
... and that flea market is really great, you should blog about it mom!
... and I wish we could get a picture of this skyline/mountain range/old car/cool store/pretty house so that you can post it on your blog!
