July sales of waterfront homes in King County were the highest on record since 2005. 95 waterfront residences were sold in the county, up a whopping 53 percent from June.
While we knew that the waterfront market was hot, the overall Seattle market is clearly moving faster than we had imagined before. Waterfront sales volume also climbed to a solid gain as well.
$84 million in waterfront sales were recorded in July. Compared to June's $54 million, that was a 56 percent jump. It's hard to find enough adjectives to accurately describe the gains. It was just a phenomenal month on the waterfront around the Seattle region.
