Looking Out Over A Sea of Grass in Hudson, FL

At the end of  a street close to Hudson Beach and the Gulf of Mexico, the tide was out and the seagrass

put on quite a show.

It is very easy to imaging that view with a sunset, I'll bet you get to see those often.

Hi Toni,

The shot looks like a really big tilled field. Who would have thought it was the Bay?

Have a good day in Trinity.

Best, Clint McKie

Toni - You say the tide was out, does that mean this is all water when the tide is in?

Wow, this looks a big field of green to me! Is that actually water when the tide is in? Love the dancing trees!

I guess you could call that a Tidal Waterfront property.

Joni - yes, it would be a great coffee moment.

Anita - there sure is. Just looking out there is so peaceful.

Not me, Sheila, that's for sure.

Mona - yes, and sunsets are spectacular here most of the year.

Clint - Not the Bay, it's the marshy area leading to the Gulf of Mexico.

Mostly, it is Tom. That's a seawall just after the trees and the water does come in.

Joanna - I first stopped to take the picture of the middle tree and realized I wasn't seeing water--just grass. I will take another look when the tide is in. I love your dancing trees comment :)

Kristin - thank you. Have a motivated Monday ;)

Beth - we do and I love the water too. So soothing.

Rich - yes, some of the waterfront is tidal in the area.

Kathy - it is and we love it.

Tony - it is a marshy part of the Gulf.

Fred - I know, I was surprised when I first saw it.

Alexandra - yes, I saw that when I stopped to take the photo.

Myrl - you wouldn't see them unless it was night. Their eyes are red and seem to only sparkle at you in the dark--double scary!!

Rob - funny thing, I didn't think about Alligators either.

Patricia - She surely does. Thanks.

It is nice to see some warm weather photos,  It is just getting warm again this week in Vermont.  The last two weeks didn't get out of the 60s during the day and the 40s at night.  I have been wondering where summer is!  Always enjoy your sunny Florida photos!

Glad you enjoyed it and is the summer always that cool? Or is this year different?

I moved into my former vacation home at the ski resort in April for the first time in 13 years so I am not sure about the summers.  Where my office is in the Burlington area - about an hour away, it can range from 6-13 degrees difference based on reports from Weather.com.  I have had fires in my fireplace probably 7 nights in August!  The leaves are already beginning to turn red on some of the trees and a few have fallen already.  It is a much higher elevation here.  It might not be snowing downtown seven miles down the road and we could have several inches of snow up here.  There was freezing hail about a week ago!
