Sex in the Garden: Brought to You By the Addison Arbor Foundation
If you live in Addison, Texas, you probably know about some of the wonderful amenities offered to the residents. There is one amenity that may have escaped your notice: the community garden.
The 40+ garden plots are located on the Addison Athletic Club property, on the southwest corner of the parking lot, on the way to the outdoor pool. Standard plots are 4' x 20' x 16" and raised plots are 4' x 12' x 30". Organic methods of gardening are strongly encouraged. It is suggested that 20% of the produce be donated to designated organizations.
Participation is open to Town of Addison residents, but there is a waiting list. If you are interested in gardening in the Addison Community Garden, you can download the Adopt-a-Plot and Release of Claims. The forms should be submitted to the Addison Arbor Foundation.
The community garden is an urban-development project organized by the Addison Arbor Foundation and the Town of Addison.
