Got cha! Good title isn't it. In our home we use the term "train wreck" to describe the kids rooms or the game room or at times the kitchen. We usually follow up the usage of the term of some hard work to improve the situation or clean the room.

                                        Picture of Train Pictures

My wife and I have been very busy lately and so Our bedroom has been a bit neglected (which is not normal, my wife is a clean freak).

My son entered the room the other day as we were getting ready to run out the door. He just shook his head and said: "What a train wreck,"

I had to laugh at the irony of the boy who never makes his bed or picks up his clothes or is able to find two clean socks because he discards them when he gets home from school all over the house, standing in my room shaking his head. Ha.

Okay, now for a practical and funny look at some of our human train wrecks...

Austin Texas Real Estate

-preferring talent over integrity of character

-Buying a big dog, 3 cats and a bird and moving into a condo with no yard.

-Putting a screen door on a submarine. Don't laugh it keeps the fish out.

-lending family money and being mad when we do not get it back

-Doing things the same way and expecting the results to be different.

You probably have some of your own. Include them in your comments. Have fun.

Alan - Nice headline.  I also love when my kids reprimand me for something, especially since it is usually an area such as the one your describe here.

Hey, Alan.  I'm glad Jason put this in his wrap for the week.  I just hope your wife doesn't surf AR, or you're going to be in trouble!!!!!  Truth be told, my daughter made my bed for me today!  I didn't ask. She was watching tv in there and apparently had nothing better to do during the commercials!

Jason:

Thanks. I appreciate it. I will look back and check out the wrapup.

Natalie:

Thanks for the heads up. Ha. Wow. Your daughter made your bed without being threatened or bribed. Sounds like you need to take her to breakfast. Have a great day.

Not true. Never listen to people who can't really see you because of their own pain. Thanks for commenting.

Jan:

Good points. So much of what happens in our economy is tied to perception. We have some economic realities that need to be addressed strongly, like oil and lending practices, but we have so much bad news that even people who are not harsly affected by the realities are being frozen to in action by bad news.

Alan - Train wrecks ..... like having a dog and 2 cats, adding a baby and then moving into a townhome from a house ........ then having your mom (me) move in to help out - train wrecks can get better with time and patience - my goal for this year is to get my daughter back into a real house, with a real yard for that dog (shepherd/chow mix) to run around and NO STAIRS for grandma to get additional gray hairs from worrying about the baby falling!!!

Wow! Sounds like quite a collission. Hopefully you will be able to find space for the dog to roam and room for the baby to run. Good luck.

OK Alan,    You got me on this one.  How about the train wreck of putting a group of A personality types into an office, selling on commission only, slow market, and telling them to be a TEAM, Work together! LOL :)     For real, it works if you can get it through their heads. :)

You made me laugh. That is funny. I can imagine. Just watch who ansers your phones. If they suddenly are living better than you pay them they may be getting incentive money to pass the leads. ha.

Hey Alan,  How true but in our office our agents take turns with floor duty.  However, referrals are not that way so please ALWAYS call me first before you send me one and send the paperwork to me.  Not saying it's a problem but I like to make sure it doesn't ever become a problem.  Know what I mean?  Have a great day!  :)
