Oh, sure. It's a "dry heat". But as anyone who lives in Lake Havasu City can tell you, our summers are HOT! The City's got a way for you to combat heat stroke, though. They're throwing a Lake Havasu Ice Block Party. And you're invited!

What: Lake Havasu Ice Block Party
Where: Rotary Community Park
When: August 31, 2013 from 2pm to 8pm

Who says you need snow to go sledding? In the desert, you just need some water and a little imagination! Strap a block of ice to your bum and slide your way to fun. Part of the Lake Havasu Ice Block Party festivities include summertime sledding and an ice block race. Chill out with your friends and family. There will be plenty of water activities and fun giveaways for all who attend. Stay for some delicious BBQ, which is available for purchase at Rotary Park in Lake Havasu.
