Today, I became a REALTOR®.
It has been a long journey. I started out as an admin, then a real estate agent, and now a REALTOR®.
I have always told everyone I would never be one. Never say never, right?
The seed was planted at the Keller Williams Family Reunion in February 2012. Not long afterwards, I started real estate school and took my sweet time with it. I was so unsure about it because the person I was working for announced that I couldn't be an admin and agent at the same time on her team.
So I found a team that did.
Ironically, like the first KW agent I was working for, I do believe that to be a great agent you have to be full-time. And after I receive one or two commission checks, I'm sure that will be the case.
I will never downgrade anyone who belongs to another brokerage or has their own. For me, Keller Williams is my home. I don't think I could get as much support and training as anywhere else and I need that!
There are so many people along the way who have encouraged me, that I could not possibly thank you all individually.
I want to give a HUGE shout out to my Active Rain colleagues who really believed in me.
Now, another journey begins, and I live my purpose in helping others find their dream homes.
Thank you Active Rain staff and members for taking me seriously even when I wasn't an agent and helping me to learn and grow.
I look forward to the coming years and learning and growing even more!
