Once in a Blue Moon arrived on August 20th. I took this photo from the southside of Mount Vernon, Ohio near the Mount Vernon Nazarene Athletic Center which gave me an unobstructed view of the sky and moon. I understand that we won't see another "Blue Moon" until 2015.

I caught the moon while I was driving home and then by the time I was where I could pull out my camera we had a big thunderstorm. Thanks for sharing your picture.
