One of our top agents in the Los Angeles area received a cold call from Google during the last couple of days. The Google sales representative asked our client to buy their internet marketing package. Our customer said, "I do not believe in that type of business operation, as I know a better way to generate business." The Google rep then asked our client how she does it. Here’s what our client said to me ...

 

"I told her that I simply did what she just did ... I call people and ask for business. I told her this is what I do all day and it’s working well and generates me a high volume of transactions and a wonderful large income. I then said to this lady, very kindly, 'You’re calling me and doing what I do and you’re calling me to sell me a package to tell me not to do what I do and what you do.'"

 

My customer said the Google rep did not like this type of an answer ... she got mad and hung up. She then said to me, "Isn't it amazing that the people selling all the magic formulas ... magic gimmicks ... magic pills ... are using the very system that you teach us to get business, so they can sell us a program on how not to do what we do to get business?"

 

If you want to sell more Real Estate, you (at some point) have to understand the value of talking to people. Are you talking to enough people?

I got a call like this last year. "Hi Doug, I'm calling you today because you are invisible on Google. We here at ABC Corp can help you bee seen online." My response, How did you find me? "We Googled you". I swear  you can't make this up...
