The tractor saddle that is...In a previous post I talked about how mentally relaxing puttin' around a hay pasture on a tractor can be.  This afternoon after we finished our Sunday grocery run, and other errands, I just felt the urge come on and couldn't resist ...so I popped back on the tractor for a couple of hours and got quite a bit of mowing and thinkin done.

One thing I have come to realize while mowing is that the deer really aren't afraid of the tractor. I can drive up almost on top of them before they break and run.  I get much closer than when we are on foot. I suppose they just aren't afraid of tractors.

Something else I discovered today .. the bluebirds have already started building nests in our bluebird boxes. We are always glad to see them. They are really fun to watch.

What is it about men and tractors?  My husband is the same... he spent hours mowing pastures yesterday.  : )

My husband would get along great with you, especially if that was a Ford Tractor! Unfortunately, the 8N is still being used to plow snow in the northern parts!

I just love the bluebirds that come to our beautiful Hilton Head Island.  We have nests in our backyard and every year, we "rent" them out to several nice families.

Trey, sweet post. I wish I had a tractor to ride. Sounds like a perfect thing for a Sunday afternoon!

Trey,

I cannot wait for spring time and the opportunity to get out all the time. Where is college Station? Must be way down in south Texas?

Trey, Sunday must have been a wonderful day to be out on the tractor.  By the way, I noticed that you've made over 50,000 points.  Congratulations!!!!
