We've been doing an enewsletter for 12 months which we've grown from 100 to 900 subscribers by asking everyone we know for their email and telling about the newsletter. The reason it works is because it is not about real estate but strictly about interesting people and businesses in our small bedroom community.

We can tell how many people open it ( around 50%) and how many click through to our website. We do a have a small fanbase that reads it through, but most just open and scan for one of the short tips or scoops on a new place opening. Last month I got a call from a guy who wants to list 3 properrties with me in the spring.

You can go to spokanevalleyscoop.com to see the articles and tips or email me and I'll send you a copy.

Elaine - Very good newsletter.  Majority of whoa NOT in the process of buying or selling a home are NOT interested in real estate news.  Yes, they are always curious about values in the area, but they have a life to live.  The format you present is something everyone can use.  Thank you for sharing.

Do you use a particular service for a template?
