2008 San Diego Real Estate Market Update

So far the 2008 real estate market this year has picked up dramatically over 2007. It's nice to see so many buyers out looking at homes and condos and writing offers. For me the San Diego Real Estate Market was very slow over the 2007 holiday months of October, November and December. The Winter months are typically slow for me and I usually plan vacations and time off around this time as do many others. What a great part of the year to take some time off too, it's the holidays and spending quality time with family is always nice. I was, along with other Realtors in my company, hoping and praying for a good 2008. So far our prayers have been answered.

I have been jumping through hoops! Buyers have really showed up and the phone is ringing off the hook. Not only are buyers calling to see property and wanting a loan prequalification to see what they can comfortably afford but our listings are getting shown like crazy. The offers, multiple in some cases are rolling right on in. This excites me because I feared a slow and choppy 2008. I must say I'm pleasantly surprised and do hope this is a continuing trend in the San Diego Real Estate Market for me.

I thought maybe I could contribute all the activity to my increased real estate web presence in San Diego County but I think it's much more than that. The excitement is in the air and it's starting to get contagious.
