Hello Moe,

Thanks for the tremendous insight on this delicate matter. I have a particular scenario that involves a costruction loan from countrywide. Do you have any past or current experiences.  Please advise...

I have a rental property in a different state that is financed through Countrywide. I have recently submitted a loan modification package urging them to change the loan rates. I have not been delinquent on the mortgage payment yet.

In 1 week I called in and after I finally got through to talk to the Loan Modification operator they told me that my request was denied since it was a rental property.

Does anyone have any experience with Countrywide in income property loan modification.

Please let me know.

I currently have an attorney involved in my case - good luck to everyone else.  One piece of advise - do not try to do this on your own use an experience real estate agent, attorney.
