In Olathe, Kansas, The Olathe Community Theatre Association has been developing since 1977 at the Buddy Rogers & Family Playhouse which was formerly the Covenant Church Building. The building was built in 1870 and has undergone renovations and expansions throughout its life. The OCTA recently completed a five phase plan for improvements.

The Theatre group is, this week, completing performances of Enchanted April by Matthew Barber from the Novel by Elizabeth von Arnim and directed by Don Carlton. The play, set in 1922 England, required actors with authentic English accents.
COMING ATTRACTIONS: INHERIT THE WIND by Jerome Lawrence and Robert E. Lee. This OCTA production will be directed by Art Suskin and stage managed by Scott Stubbs. A cast of over fifty players will perform in March, 2007. Learn more about Times and Tickets.
