Are there any other husband & wife teams that could give us some good advice. We really want to take our business to the "Next Level". I think Darryl Davis has made that quote famous.
We have worked together in real estate for almost 3 years now. Even before real estate we worked several other jobs together, so it's not a new feat for us. We're kind of along the same lines as you two: Jim handles most of the phone calls and face to face meetings while I take care of everything "behind the scenes".
The one peice of advice that I can give you is to make time for yourselves! We tend to always be working, whether it be while eating dinner, visiting with family, on vacation, etc. You have to have some time to get away from the real estate centered conversation and focus on other things going on in your lives. It may seem like common sense, but when you're involved in 5+ contracts at one time, and a couple of them are stressing you out, you both might have a hard time finding something else to talk about.
