When Business Gets in the Way of Blogging

yes, you almost might want to be a full time blogger but then that business comes in form your effort :)

It happens sometimes LOL You are making a right choce and we will just have to wait until you have some more time f

You've gotta close the deals when they roll in first, and blog later.  It's a good problem to have though.

Sandi, First of all, I love your page, the pink couch is perfect! This is one of those crazy weeks for me starting with one client at 8am and finishing with another at 9:30pm. You can't always predict how busy you'll be from one day to another and we can't do it all, so we'll have to be happy with what we do accomplish.

You gotta make hay when the sun shines - It is good that business is doing well for you. Good luck.

Sandi - I love the Pink Couch!!  Great Site.   I completely agree....we need more than 24 hours in the day.  I can't keep up.  The blogging and the SEO is getting me more business.  This is a VERY good thing!

I agree Sandi.  Once I started getting busy it is SO hard to get back into the routine of blogging.  I need to just get back into the habit.  If I can give any advice, it would be to keep it up while you can.  Once you get away its difficult to get it back

 

Busy can be good...sometimes we need a break though, and blogging is not really a break, it's part of the job. Or seems to be!

Sandi- Being to busy to blog is something we all aspire to be. That is a good thing.

I asked my one "famous" client how he updates his blog daily when his schedule is so crazy.  He told me he bankrolls blogs.  He'll sit down and write 10-15 more "generic' blogs at a time. When he's crazy, he'll post one of those, otherwise he writes as he's going through his day. 

I have a very big problem with this, as well.  It also seems like I get inspiration, I'll write 3 blogs, post them quickly (within the same day) and then I hit a dry spell for the week. 

Something that I've done when I'm feeling rushed or a "dry spell" - I'll find an article online, link to it, and comment.  Easier to talk with a jumping off point, rather than waiting for inspiration to strike.

I love the way you had title this blog........ I do feel that I've neglected my blogging too and there's no good excuse.

I had the same problem this week!  I've been so busy I haven't been able to keep up.  Glad to know I'm not the only one.
