Unless of course any of you would like me to stay. I have tried to help over the past couple of weeks but it just doesn't seem as if I am helping many of you.. So, if you would like me to stay leave some comments & if there are enough of you, I will certainly stay and help otherwise I have to say Bye for now.. I may stop back from time to time.. Glad I could help those that I have...

Randy - I'm certain there are those that you can help with what you do on here, why would you leave?

Randy it take more than 10-20 blogs to make it here.  If that is what you respect than active rain may not be for you but if you are commitment to success for the long term hang out and see what happens...

I went back through to see what I had missed.  Couldn't find anything.  I think your posts are informative but if you feel you aren't helping then you should go where you feel you will have more impact.

Forming a following does take time and effort.  Both in posting and comments that you give.  I think what you say will be missed as it seems you have some very useful information to share.

Being seen and heard around here takes time, especially with over 70,000 members.  I agree with Christina and Jason above that you have something to contribute.  Please give it time and remember that there are so many voices and opinions on ActiveRain.  Building a network here is like SEO..the results aren't always immediate.

Randy...Just went quickly thru you blog....looks like you have some very good info there...I might suggest you break up your posts alittle. When some members see these posts they just look like a "wall of words" and will not take the time to read thru the information.

Also some of your posts are not even posted to any groups, which means the majority of members would have not even seen them.  This post is posted in "Realtors" only. One of the most popular groups. Readers have to be able to find your posts.

I would suggest you search out groups and join a few...especially those that deal with marketing and SEO...when you write you can post to 5 groups.  Try this and see if it helps.

It also appears you are relatively "new" here and it takes a while for members to find you. A few weeks really isn't enough time to expect members find you and subscribe.

I would suggest you give us more time to discover your talent and all the help you are willing to provide.

Just my two cents.

Randy, like Christiana said, it takes time to develop a following here in AR. I have been at it for just a few months and I am just starting to get a following. It does take time.

I am just swamped with work and if not enough people are benefiting from my posts I don't want to waste time. The few that I have helped could certainly come to my site and grab some great tips and advice from there.. I guess I just feel as if I am doing extra work and maybe it's not being found on Active Rain or something.. Anyway, I would love to stay if I am really helping some of you as that was my whole reason for Joining... I enjoy helping others... So let me know...

Randy - keep on trucking (blogging), many people read without commenting.  You never know who you are helping out there!

Ah... I see, Thanks guys/gals for alerting me of the groups! I see that I need to post to the right areas, I had no idea my posts weren't reaching everyone! I will definately spend more time here and try to layout a roadmap of the site so I can get my info into the right hands. Thanks for the posts as if it weren't for you I would have ventured off...

Michael, I will contact you here in a bit... I just made a post to someone that I think may help you as well.. Here is it:

I do... I have a full time web development and search engine marketing company along with my book that is about to be released in March. I have been generating top positions for clients for a bit over 12 years now. Tons of references and proven results if you ever needed them :)

Anyway, if you need assistance contact me and I would be happy to look over what you have and talk to you about your options.

My most recent success was taking a Real Estate company who had hired an SEO consultant that got them blacklisted with Google out of the black list and increased their sales $100,000,000 in 7 months time. I love showing the results for this one!

Look forward to hearing from you...

Randy

P.S. I enjoy sharing some knowledge as I know the industry is in a bit of a slump and for those who love to do it themselves can get some very helpful information from my posts and hopefully generate more traffic and sales from it...

Randy - just less than a month in the Rain really isn't a fair or adequate gauge for determining whether or not you're going to continue your involvement. Seriously, what are your expectations here? What is it that you wish to accomplish through your blogging and participation? You want to be 'helpful' to our members? In what way? By dispensing advice on websites, SEO, and all things Web 2.0? There's probably a gazillion other people on here doing the same thing. Don't stay because we beg you to do so. Stay because you find value in your involvement here, and are willing to invest the time and effort to become successful.

Rich,

I actually posted that I was staying.. I didn't know about the various groups etc.. Now that I know I need to find groups to join that I can help, I now have a better understanding on how Active Rain works.. I'm not asking anyone to beg me to stay by any means. I received the feedback I needed from the other helpful members who explained to me just how the blogs worked. If you don't find the information I have posted helpful I'm sorry.. I don't just post things that everyone else does, I post things that I know will help others and individuals in my industry don't always tell because they are all about bringing in a dollar. Anyway, I'm here to stay and will try to be as helpful as possible.
