This real estate market making you cry!

In Southwest Florida many people are saying that we have a large inventory of properties on the market. In realty not every property is really on the market. Why do I say this? If you really need to sell your home you need to price it within today's market. If you bought in 2005 your home is not going to sell for the price you purchased. Many homes are priced way to high for this sluggish real estate market. If you want to have your home sold you need to price it lower than every home with the same criteria, you have to your home professionally staged to have your home stand out from the competition. You also need to hire a realtor that has a marketing plan that works in this market. Your realtor needs to think outside the box. What sold a home 2 years ago doesn't work in this market. Hire a team that will be realistic in pricing and market your property aggressively. Good advice.  Low prices are what is selling houses now a days.  Not much else is getting them sold.
