This report will be broken down into two different sections, one for Single Family Residence and the second for Condos. Please keep in mind that the real estate market report I have provided is a compilation of a large price range for the entire city of West Jordan and should not be confused as being the price in which your home will currently sell for.  Also please take note:

•  “SOLD” indicates all the properties that sold during the month of January 2008.
•  “Under Contract” are the properties that have gone through negotiations and are currently awaiting their  closing date as of the date I pulled this report (2/18/2008). 
•  “Active Listings” are all the homes currently listed with a real estate broker and listed on the MLS as of the date I pulled this report(2/18/2008).

West Jordan City Facts

• The 4^th largest city in Utah.
• Population is 101,638 as of Feb. 2007 (according to Wikepedia).
• Is the Base of the Utah Army National Guard.
• Kennecott Copper Mine, which is the world’s largest open mine pit,  is nestled up against the Oquirrh’s.
• Is home of the Jordan Valley Hospital.
• Provides convenient driving distance to Higher Education Schools.
• Consists of mixed land development with large companies such as, Dannon Yogurt, Sysco, Dunford Bakeries, Balkamp and Fairchild Semiconductor.
• Neighboring cities are, Taylorsville, South Jordan, Kearns, Sandy, Midvale and West Valley City.
• Close to Bangerter Highway, I-215 and I-15.
• Is home to one of Utah’s largest shopping centers, Jordan Landing.
• Home of Airport 2
• Approximately 42 miles to Hill AFB.
• Approximately 20 miles to Little Cottonwood Canyon and Big Cottonwood Canyon, which leads to many of Utah’s ski resorts.
• Approximately 19 miles to the Salt Lake International Airport.
