Big Talk on Small Business

This morning I will be participating in a live remote broadcast of ‘Big Talk on Small Business', a radio show on WKJK 1080 A.M.  The hosts are a father/daughter team that do the show every weekday from 9-Noon.  To me that is incredible.  That is a lot of show to do every week. Of course there is a lot to running a small business and they are devoted to the issues and the people.  I hope to be on the air between 9 and 10 am today.

For all the people that read my blog, I hope you saw this before I went on and you had a chance to listen.  Check out he show's web site. If you run a small business, and realtors qualify because we are 1099 independent contractors, there is a lot of information and contacts for services that you might find helpful.  www.bigtalkonsmallbusiness.com

I mentioned that realtors are independent contractors because I sometimes talk to folks that don't understand what that means.  Some think that the realtors that work for larger companies are actually salaried and they can use them and their services without any obligation because they are getting paid to show their company's listings.  That is NOT the case.  Every time you call a realtor from a sign or an ad, you are asking him or her to put their time, effort and resources to work for you. If you are already working with a realtor and don't have any intention of using them, just let them know.  They will be happy to communicate any information to your realtor.  If you use them to show you properties, but have no intention of purchasing, they are just out time and money.  They don't get paid until you buy a home from them.

Here is a photo from the live remote.
