We are trying to get the word out about a VERY IMPORTANT MESSAGE. We urge you to turn up your nose at breeders and rescue your new best friend! There are lots of animals ALREADY BORN who are literally dying for a new home...with you and your family.

Sugar was rescued from a home with 5 kids who had very little supervision. She's a bit special because of it. She's come around slowly... she no longer bites my daughter (first issue we had to deal with). She's a great hugger/snuggler.

And here is Snowball (the one in the middle). We got him at the county shelter on his last day there. He's a sweetie. Would NEVER go to a breeder... always a rescue! We have 2 cats, 2 rabbits & the poodle. Sometimes I feel like all I do is clean up p**p, but they're worth it.

Peggy - You are so right! I have never purchased a dog from a breeder or a pet store. I have always had rescue animals - be it dog or cat or horse. Some have been purebred, some are mutts, but it doesn't matter. What matters is that they always love you unconditionally.

This is our latest adoptee - but he's not available to go to another home. He's way too spoiled here!
