The Time Is Now!

A Realtor associate of mine in Covington said to me today, "I did it! I just put my house on the market. It's Real Estate For Sale Sign probably not a good time to do it, but..." This statement was from a full-time, professional, successful Realtor with over 20 years experience in the marketplace.

So, when is a good time to put your house on the market?

Traffic from real estate buyers and sellers in Covington is beginning to move again. Builders in Covington are still building new homes. The news media has tired of their campaign to terrorize the public about the horrible real estate market. Some are even saying that now is a great time to buy a home. We're at the beginning of an annual market period when buyers start looking so they can relocate before the next school year.

If you're going to sell your home, should you wait until after the last threat of frost? Should there be a full moon? Is a sunny day better than a rainy one? Should you wait until March 15^th? How about August 3^rd?

If you want to sell your home, and your home is ready to sell, what are you waiting for? There is no specific "good time to do it." The time is NOW!

Bill, I agree now the time is perfect to sell or buy a home. Just do it and do it right.

Now is a great time to buy or sell a home. Our market has many sweet properties available. Rates are terrific, and our lenders are offering solid home loan products for our consumers. What else could we want??

Well, a little more sunshine and a warm-up in the temperature would be nice. It's coming!!

Laurie... I agree 100%, and thanks for your comment! We would love some more sun and warmth here too. The high today was 47 and rainy. Brrrr! (Sorry... I couldn't resist. You'd probably love a 47 degree day where you are!)

I think the time is right when it's right for you....so long as you're prepared to do what it takes to sell in this market, you'll have success.
