Search on the Rain.

OK its time for me to get back in the Rain Game and do some catching up.  I have been off doing "business" and have let my blog talent go to sleep.  Its hard to wake it up if you let it go to sleep!!!

Dionne put a challenge on me that I cannot let go un-answered.  Find a gem in the rain.  Well, lucky for me this challenge is not that hard.  The hard part is just picking 2.

Here's the GEMS I pick:

My daughter, D'Adrea Davie of course is my first gem in any kind of a challenge.  Easy pick.  She is a hard worker like her mom, she does not give up like her mom, she is eager to learn like her mom and she even look a little like her mom!  So of course, she is a gem.  She is not so bad with short sales and other real estate business either.   D'Adrea has good information on short sale and buyer information that is well worth the read.  Check out D'Adrea Davie

Here's her flick ..........................and see I told you, she does favor her mom!!!!

My next pick is someone I have never met but I sure like her style.  She seems to be a friendly and kind hearted person that can cook and bake up something good for the soul.  Her name is Linda Futral.  I am just catching up on some of Linda's blogs and found these interesting:  "Marketing yourself in a New Age" and Southern Women".  Linda may not know this but I was born in the south.  Arkansas and you don't get much more southern than that.... well you can but for the sake of my writing you can't.  And then there's the blog on how to warm your soul on a cold day with some of Linda's Chili.  Check out Linda Futral

Dionne, you're a Gem for coming up with this, for even having the time to think it up!  I like you because you have welcome me into your life and will actually pick up the phone and give me a call.  I like that.  Let's keep in touch and maybe give each other that support when needed.

Check out Dionne Morgan

OK so what do I do now.  I guess I'll go over and let D'Adrea and Linda know that I have been blogging about them and that they are the Gems that I found in the Rain. And I am challenging Earl the Pearl Sorrell

and Mike Mueller   to find a hidden gem in the rain. Go find yourself a "Hidden Gem" in the Rain....a post or member that was not recognized that you feel should be. Write a post about why you chose your particular member and/or post include a link to their blog in your post and pick 2 other members to do the same as you. Your headline should include " Hidden Gem in the Rain."

Post it to Blast from the past! and Active Rain Newbies and any other groups you feel would fit the guidelines for this (if not a member please join we have good stuff going on in there :) ) Blast from the past! Send a quick email with a link to the post you have written to the members telling them what you have done and that it's their turn to do the same..and give back in the rain...as well as your "chosen" member to find another gem.

Wow, Rosemary I was so excited to see you back in action and popping to the top of my subscribers list I jumped on this to see what you had going on.  I knew you had been busy but you truly have been missed and then I see who you tagged as your gems. I am so flattered and humbled by your kind words.  Thank you so much for them and thinking of me.

I have not read your daughters posts but will be checking her out as well.  Thank you so much.

Linda ~ I thank you! You and I clicked so easily and I truly enjoy reading your blog.  Yes, I have been busy and I found coming back to AR a little hard.  Brain stopped thinking of stuff to write about.  But I am sure it will come back!!

I truly meant the words I wrote.  Thank you being a special gem here on AR.

RoseMary. first welcome back, probably from a needed AR break. Hopefully you are refreshed and refocused.

Thank you for following through on this a great challenge. You are right, finding the gems are not the problem.  Tapping an unsuspecting peer on the back for special acknowledgement is a wonderful gesture. I am going to visit Linda and Andrea today. Thanks you for highlighting and introducing them to some of us and reintroducing them to others.
