We were blessed with clear skies for the Lunar Eclipse tonight - athough my camera battery did die so you only get the begining of the eclipse - I thought I would share it with you.  The next Lunar Eclipse for us is in December of 2010.

Central Oregon offers great outdoor activities and having the opportunity to sip a hot cup of coffee and snap photos of this spectacular event was the topping of a great Central Oregon Day.

Julie  - thank you - it was a beauty

Mana - I thought you would have a good view - I watched it from my office - the trees at home obscured the view.

Toby - welcome to the RAIN - and that is what you will often see called RES (real estate shows) look up Jeff Turner's profile - he is the man to talk to and as a member you can have unlimited shows for about $100 a year.

Hi Thesa, We had a great view of the eclipse tonight also on the eastern Seaboard. The expected clouds never rolled  in.

Thesa - What a great show! My hubby is in the hospital and when I was on my way home I stopped at Borders to pick up a cookbook on diabetic cooking (he's newly diagnosed) and the girl who checked me out told me to be sure to look up when I went outside. Sure enough, there it was! Absolutely amazing...I like it when God shows out like that!

Thesa - I can not say thank you enough for these pics.  We brought the kids out and it was just too cloudy.  My son was very disappointed.  He will be delighted to see your photos today.

Thesa--We were able to see it from our window....One great thing about living in the country where there are few lights except the stars. Nice of you to share with those that missed this even. It's a long time til 2010!

I even got the kids out of bed to see the eclipse. I was impressed at how easy it was to see and  no eye damage either!!  Great RES.
