Contest for the Biggest Pothole in Michigan

Michigan is in the middle of a contest and this is for anyone in the state.  If you find the biggest pothole and send the photo to drivemi.org you could win $360.00.

 

The organizers for the contest figure people will laugh about the thought of potholes big enough to lose small dogs and they do exist but the problem is the prize money is the cost of the average alignment fix to a body shop when your car hits one of these.   They are also setting us up for additional taxes to fix roads which seem to continually break down and from what I have read other states seem to be doing a better job of managing their roads and paving contractors.Michigan roads                                                     

I hope you have your camera ready to take the photo because it sounds like you're going to need money to fix your car after driving in Michigan this season.

Karen:  This is so sad that it's funny!  We have similar issues here in NC, but I think you've got us beat with the size of those potholes!  A small dog?!

Gosh there is too many to choose from. The ones in Chicago were worse if you can believe that.

Oh my gosh that is funny! I hope you win that contest Karen. I wish they would do something like that in Utah, but then again some drivers already don't keep focused on driving the road, they would be focused on driving into potholes. Clunk!

OK, I found you thanks to Julie Neerings and I am so glad she had you as a hidden gem, this is awesome and I'm sorry your state has cars missing because of pot holes like this one, but what a great idea to bring it to the states attention that you have a problem!
