Michigan is in the middle of a contest and this is for anyone in the state.  If you find the biggest pothole and send the photo to drivemi.org you could win $360.00.

The organizers for the contest figure people will laugh about the thought of potholes big enough to lose small dogs and they do exist but the problem is the prize money is the cost of the average alignment fix to a body shop when your car hits one of these.   They are also setting us up for additional taxes to fix roads which seem to continually break down and from what I have read other states seem to be doing a better job of managing their roads and paving contractors.                                                    

I hope you have your camera ready to take the photo because it sounds like you're going to need money to fix your car after driving in Michigan this season.
