Here is the next of "The Kingdom of Heaven is like" series..... This installment on what the Kingdom of Heaven is like is from Matthew 13:31-32. He presented another parable to them, saying, "The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and sowed in his field; and this is smaller than all other seeds, but when it is full grown, it is larger than all the garden plants and becomes a tree, so that THE BIRDS OF THE AIR come and NEST IN ITS BRANCHES."
This is such a symbolically filled verse that it boggles my mind (see the picture on the right). First is the seed itself....a mustard seed...
The next part of this parable is an interpretation of what
Have You been a SHADE to those who need to find the Lord? Or have you just said,"Be well, I will be praying for you..." Have you befriended people you see need the Lord...? Have you WALKED with them through the things they are Have you spoke to them about the word of God and how Have you told them about Jesus' sacrifice... taking GODS JUST

Lu Kalaj ~~~ yes we are the salt and light of the world..... we are to be able to show by our lives what the kingdom of God is like AND we are to add savor to this world by our lives also.....fighting against wrongs trying to take over in our lives is part of being salt in this life...
Hi Alex, do you remember the famous words Ronald Reagan used in his presidential debate with, then President Jimmy Carter, when he said, "There he goes again."
Reading this made me think of that quote -- There he, Alex, goes again...teaching us about the beauty of sharing brotherhood (and sisterhood, of course) with other believers: praying with and for them, doing bible studies together, following through with commitments...
