Provide a Specialty service... 2 Fully dressed models in 7days

At Re-Arrange It Interiors our specialty is quickly becoming quick turnaround. For years if a builder wanted a model or a showcase property they had to hire a expensive designer, buy loads of furniture they didn't want, and wait months for delivery.  While they are usually beautiful they are not your only option. Our specialty team can offer you the same results in a matter of days or weeks, AND for half the cost. This is a project we finished last week. We first visit the property on day#1 and looked at two 1900 sq-ft condos the builder wanted completely furnished with window treatments. He already selected all the wall colors...this is what it looked like on the 7th day.

You're a miracle worker!  These condos came out wonderful and I'm sure will sell quickly.

I have to agree with Kathy!  Although purple is one of my favorite colors- I'm not sure we could have pulled it off!   You did a GREAT Job!

Blueberry is my graphic- funny!

Very Nicely Done!  I especially like the window treatments! Are they custom, ready made or both?  I love the rugs too!

Margaret ~ Very nicely done!  You managed to work with all the colors (even the purple, which I think the black helped).  I love window treatments, and I, too, like the window treatments you used, can I ask where you got them?

Margaret:  Do you use rental furniture or does the builder pay for all the furnishings?  Julie

Way to go, Margaret!  We stagers all need to get the word out to the builders in our market!

Margaret Im starting to fall in love with your style!!! my question is do you always include window treatments in your stagings? do you charge separate for that?

I have run into builders with these same color choices-we need to educate them to have us in to consult BEFORE thay choose the colors. Have to say-you made these spaces terrific!

Kathy - Thank you, I love your work.

Marci - The purple was the hardest... At least the Realtors stop saying "we'll paint your unit any color you'd like" in the first sentence with there introduction.

Michelle- In this case the window treatments are custom but simple. There is not hardware and all the fabric was remnant. The rugs were a problem because 9x12 area rugs are hard to find and not cheap. We found a great shag remnant and had it bound (very cheap) and the 8x10 was rented with the furniture.

Kathy - The wall colors were a real problem especially since the demographic was 50+. and these colors were too young. Our goal was to tone them down and add traditional.

Julia- All the furniture is rented from Brooks furniture rental _ They are the great!

Shannon,  Roberta, Kristi- Thank you!

Neil you are so right!

Fernando- Thank you I love yourstyle! No I do not do windows on every job but I would if I could, after trying many different staging styles I found nothing has a bigger impact on a room than a window treatment. I'll buy 20.00 panels at linen n things and tack them up if I have to (FYI both LRM's are just tacked to the wall on this project). They make the room feel finished and you don't have to add alot more. Try it you'll see... and did I mention its addicting?

In this case the builder specifically asked for them and gave us a generous budget to buy. (Most builders don't care as long as the price is right). Some we pull and recycle, some get sold with the property or like in this case they'll just move them to another unit, this the first of 5 buildings going up.

For regular vacant or owner occupied it depends on the job and budget, we often embellish ready-mades and do only high impact windows. It's worked into the staging fee.

Sandra - Thanks - I'm still working on the photography...I've tried 3 different professional photographers but I've been disappointed every time. If anyone knows a good one in the chicagoland area please share.

Linda - Thank you for your kind words

Cheri- You know it! There are 2 more models set up as sales and selection centers ...you just wouldn't believe the colors there- lavender, blues, reds, Its his signature.

Margaret, just beautiful!  I, just like everyone else, love what you did for window treatments!  Isn't it funny how many of us went right to the windows!  That makes such an impact and adds such richness and value...well done!

Margaret...simply stunning.  Can you show us a close up of what you mean by "tacking up" the window treatments?  I too love putting in specialty window designs but hardware is always an issue.  Thanks.
