Well, I certainly realize that you did not come to Lance Winslow's Real Estate Blog to read up on the latest and greatest innovations in waterless urinals, that I am sure of. Nevertheless, please do not get too pissed off about what I am going to say next. You see, Americans just waste too much water and we are getting to a point that, well, we just cannot allow that anymore. Even in areas of sufficient rainfall part of the year, must go thru periods of little rainfall in the other seasons.

This Old School House Only Has One Urinal in the Back!

As our population continues to expand our limited fresh water resources are growing thin, droughts are becoming an every year thing, instead of a once or twice per decade challenge. Now then, let us get back to the waterless urinal. Did you know that waterless urinals at an average elementary school can save huge amounts of water? Its true; a school district urinal uses 45,000 gallons a year each. Yep, every single one.

Now did you know that a whole school can retrofit all their urinals to waterless urinals for about $15,000 - it is true! It costs about $40 each and last in a typical school about 4-12 months, kids are hard on urinals. Think of all the water that can be saved by taking advantage of these technologies, and one last thing, I want you to remember that school is only open 9-months a year, so that is a pretty darn good savings on water and a very fair return on investment. We are going to have to great creative if we are to save water. Lets put that property tax money to good use rather than pissing it away!

That sure sounds like a creative way to save water. I have never seen a waterless urinal, are they anything like those johnny-on-the-spots?

Water less urinal?  Like a port a poddy.  Is that how you spell port a poddy? lol.  As long as it is sanitary, I am all up for this Lance.
