Most of you know how well Brian Buffini has taught us to work his systems.  If the weather today has stopped you from showing, listing or made it impossible for you to work your daily routine, here is a suggestion for you.

Work on your notes, try to sit down and write a whole bunch.  Write to the people you thought you were going to see today.  Let them know that you look forward to meeting with them soon.  This applies to those of you who were going to attend Joe Niego's Training Camp or his Referral Workshop.  He loves receiving the notes, too.  If you need his address, it is on the Referral Directory.  Yes, he loves referrals for his business, just as you and I do.  Next, make some calls.  If you are stuck home, I bet some of your clients are, too.  Saving the popbys for last:)  You cannot go shopping to pick up your popby item today, however, you could make your tags with a cute St.Patrick's Day phrase.  Something like:  You are my pot of gold, I'm lucky to have your referrals!

You can work on your files, updating your database.  Refining your clients, setting up showings for tomorrow and Sunday.

Taxes, have we finished our summaries for the accountant?  Just get it done, and today could be the day to finish!

Take an online course.  It is license renewal time in Connecticut.  Brokers' deadline is March 31st, Salespersons' deadline is April 30th.  NAR offers them, as well as your state and local associations.  Quadrennial Ethics needs to be completed by 12/31/2008 for NAR, and is available online.  Take a designation course.  There are many informative designations.  Do take the course for your own resource, not just to place the letters after your name.

My point to this post is this, complete some of these things today, even if they are small accomplishments.  Goals of daily victories make the big picture easier to reach. Maybe, just go for a walk, clear your head, fresh air does wonders for you!  Go complete a few tasks, you will Win the Day today!  Here's my lab, Jack, waiting for me to take our walk!

Sharing the good life,

Oh, By the Way...if you know of someone who could use my good services, please send me their contact information.  I will follow-up and take good care of them for you.  I am never to busy for your referrals!

Frances just because the weather was bad does not mean that it can't be a productive work day.

By the way John Oman, whom I just invited to ActiveRain is also a big Brian Buffini fan.

Whoo Hoo!  Send him over!  Is he in Clubnet?  Does he belong to a Small Group?  Is he a Realtor or a banker?

Great post. Even though I had my plate full in spite of the weather it was not easy to stay on track. Thanks for the ideas and spirit behind them to make another weather day even better.
