An Tribute to my Scanner
At the last blog, I was in the midst of contract negotiations on a listing where the owners were in Europe, and unable to receive faxes. All negotiations, including my scanning the offer by PDF as an attachment, were sent via e mail, to the sellers in Europe.
I am happy to announce that the Sellers have accepted my offer, and that we have a productive sale! The buyers are very excited about their pending purchase, and I just listed their home for sale. We had three showings on the first day of the listing in the Pascack Valley, and I will hopefully announce a productive sale in the very near future! (The Spring Market is Alive and Well in the Pascack Valley!)
Once again, technology to the rescue! With my trusty scanner, contracts were able to travel across the globe within seconds, and expedite what could have taken a week to transpire. Helping our customers to achieve their dreams is always our goal, but the use of technology can go a long way to help make things happen.
I remember when I first began 17 years ago..Attorneys were not allowing faxed copies of contracts to be accepted, and we were running around getting "original signatures" which had to be delivered to the attorneys.
We have indeed come a long way. We are so fortunate to have so many tools at our finger tips to be able to "make things happen" for our clients.
And the best of all is..there is always so much more we can learn to help our clients!
A great Career we have chosen!
