That looks like my neice's complex (she is in Alexandria)! If so, that is a very nice complex with lots of greenery and open space and in a great area. Hope you can find the perfect buyer for it, Lenn.

Are you seeing many short sale intermediary companies popping up there? Just wondering. I have bumped into 2 in the last 2 weeks here.

Lenn, it looks like an exceptional buy. I like the slide show and detail of home as well.

Mary. What we are seeing here for "short sale" is buyer looking for them, sellers asking for it, listing agents who don't know what they are and buyer's agents who have no patience. But, the market is growing because of the news. We have one closing on 3/7.

Short sale intermediaries??? HA! I get calls regularly from "intermediaries", meaning individuals who are not licensed trying to sell their services in "handling" short sales. They crawled out from under the rocks them day "short sale" became a houseworld word.

Ray. Thanks. This is a friend's listing. I don't list but I have friends that do. I look for buyers.

Great location, great price, wonderful pool and tennis courts...this looks like a great opportunity for buyers especially since the bank is already willing to work with the sellers on a short sale.

The outside looks just like a listing I put in recently here.

Diane. Thanks. The seller is completely approved and the bank is anxious for him to sell. I won't deal with any listing agent unless they know what they're doing. "Short sale" around here has become slang for "House for sale".

Neal. No doubt. This style was popular throughout this area in the '79s.

All we need is a buyer.

Lenn, having bank approval already for a Short Sale is a major obstacle out of the way. I wrote a loan on Sunday which they had been waiting for bank approval for a Short Sale for a week, and here we are almost another week later and they still don’t have bank approval.
