Wednesday night at our S.O.S. meeting (Sisterhood Of Stagers) one of our topics for discussions was our business plans for the New Year. I told the group I started 2008 by studying my strategic plan again. Years ago I met with John Maver at www.mavermanagement.com at the inception of my staging business. On the 5th anniversary he contacted me for a refreshing update. The stagers in my home shared they did not have strategic plans for their businesses! I shared the key points of mine with them and want to share them with you in case some you do not have one either.....
Objective ie.... what type of homes price/ size do you want to stage
Goals ie.... how much Rev /Profit , # of clients
Strategies ie.... how do you want to promote and develop your business
Measures ie... # if Realtors served, # of repeat clients, $ % increase in resale value, website hits
Tactics ie... build referrals, develop presentation materials, website etc.
